508Unknown Carver Quebec Golden-eye

Golden-eye drake, unknown Canadian carver (probably Quebec). This is a very stylish decoy probably carved in the late 1940?s. It has a flat ballast weight, great bill carving, and the head is cocked about 45 degrees to the left. The paint is great overall condition. The paint is cracked at the base of the neck. Dimensions are 13 x 6 x 7.5 (L x W x H) inches.

Great old bobtail canvasback hen from the Milford, Michigan area, ca. 1930s, carver unknown. Very heavy because of all the ballast weight. ¾ inch bottom board, and a great head! Dimensions are 16.5 x 7 x 7.5 (L x W x H) inches.
