670Hyatt Great Horned Owl

Great Horned Balsa Owl by John Hyatt, Pekin, IL., in very good original paint and condition with some in-use wear. Professional repair and touch up to the ears by Allen Weidhass. This is one of about 500 owls that the carver made for P.S. Olt Company, ca. 1935. The owl was marketed with Olts cardboard crow decoys and E-1 crow call.

671Hollow-carved Heck Whittington Pintail Pair

This is a wonderful matched pair of pintails by Heck Whittington, Oglesby, IL. Original paint with minor scuffing where the primer shows though. Excellent feather paint detail on both decoys. Dimensions of each decoy are 17 x 6 x 6.5 (L x W x H)inches. Comb paint is crazed and the decoys have excellent patina.
