He was used lightly and has a small amount of wear on the edges. The head position is snuggled suggesting a bird at rest. He has glass eyes. The bottom is signed by the maker.

| 645Hubert Elias Redhead Hen Beautiful hen redhead by Hubert Elias, Alma , Mich. Circa 1940-1950s. 100% original. Elias made a personal gunning rig and this is one of about 12 divers he made. The construction is excellent with a hollow carved, center cut body. The head has tack eyes. The body is nicely carved with draw shaved markings. The original keel is intact. She has a few shot scars and typical dents and dings from gunning use. There are no physical problems or repairs. This is a wonderful lowhead decoy!

The original lead weight is intact; he has glass eyes and excellent bill carving. The physical condition is excellent.
