| 563Deroevan canvasback pair This is a pair of original paint canvasbacks done by Frank Deroevan (Mitchell?s Bay, Ontario), a Belgian immigrant who made decoys for some Western Ontario hunt clubs. His early decoys, such as the drake of this pair, had strong comb paint. Frank used army khaki tank paint as a base coat, and the finish coat for some hens (such as this one).
