| 437Pair of Ben Schmidt Redheads Pair of Benj. Schmidt (Centerline, MI) redheads, ca. 1930. These are great old gunning decoys in original paint. Both have their original keels. The drake is 14.25 x 6.5 x 6.5 (L x W x H) inches. There is flaking of the white paint on the sides, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this decoy. The wings are carved and have lighter feathering detail. The hen is 14 x 7 x 6.25 (L x W x H) inches. She has wing carving in a slightly different pattern than the drake, but they match fairly closely. She has a flat tail.
